NETWORK SPECIALIST

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting the network infrastructure of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
• Configure TCP/IP networks, subnets, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Use tools like Wireshark, Nagios, and PRTG to monitor network health and resolve issues.
• Implement security policies and configure firewalls and wireless security.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, FTP, and SNMP services.
• Support Windows Server, Linux, and other systems in the network.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field.
• Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Proficiency with HTTPS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and network appliances.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and network environments.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
