Technical Supervisor – Power Plant & High Voltage
Role Overview: The Technical Supervisor – Power Plant & High Voltage will play a crucial role in ensuring
the efficient operation and maintenance of campus power generation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operations, maintenance,
and repair of the campus power generation and distribution assets.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of power plant and high voltage maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of power plant equipment and high voltage systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct performance monitoring and analysis to optimize plant efficiency and reliability.
Qualification, skills and knowledge:
- Minimum of HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Power Options) or related field.
- Minimum of five years in power plant operations and maintenance, with at least two years supervisory experience.
- Experience with high voltage systems (above 11kv).
- Strong knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
