Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a list of items needed for boarders?

A detailed parents and student handbook for boarding, including required items will be made available at enrolment.

Boarders may wear their personal clothing from 5:00 pm to lights out at 9:00–9:30 pm. This includes during dinner, supervised homework, and evening activities. We are also designing and purchasing housewear for all boarders.

These guidelines will be detailed in the boarding handbook and reflect the school’s values and traditions.

Policies regarding mobile phones and screen time will be included in the handbook to ensure balanced use and academic focus. Policies regarding their use will be shared with enrolled parents to ensure collaboration on appropriate online activities and screen times.

Prep (homework) is guided by a timetable for all year groups and completed during teacher-supervised sessions in the library, overseen and monitored by resident tutors and houseparents.

Laundry and ironing is managed in-house. Students will place items in assigned laundry baskets, and staff handle the rest.

Boarders will have meals designed by in-house nutritionists and prepared by in-house chefs. This includes a daily breakfast, snack at break time, lunch (with two options: local and international), light bites between the end of the school day and ECAs, an evening meal, and snacks thereafter. Bringing additional provisions is not required.
