Boutique Supervisor

Role Overview: Full-time, on-site, 5 days a week, with occasional evenings and weekends for special events. The Boutique Supervisor will ensure that the Boutique experience is exceptional for all customers. In the first instance, when the boutique is quiet, the Boutique Supervisor will assist on reception and with general administration in the Welcome Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in finding the right sizes and styles of school uniforms, utilizing the sample trying on items in the Boutique.
  • Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and returns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently by assisting customers in ordering items online from the comfort of the shop or remotely.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Boutique Assistants as necessary.
  • Ensure that the Boutique is visually appealing and well-organized·
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product inquiries.

Qualification, skills and knowledge:

  • B.Sc. or its equivalent in any discipline; additional education or training in customer service is a plus
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in retail.
  • Outstanding Customer Service
  • A proactive and helpful attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • The position may require standing for extended periods and lifting/moving boxes of inventory.
  • Flexible working hours may be necessary during peak uniform shopping seasons.
