Our Curriculum:
Broad, Balanced, Future-Ready

Our adapted blended curriculum is based on both the English National Curriculum (ENC) and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC).
 
 
It fuses the rigour and depth of the ENC with the concept-based approach of the IMYC, fostering wider subject connections, global understanding, and reflective learning.
 
 
Subjects Offered at KS3
 
  • Mathematics: 5 x one-hour lessons per week
  • English (integrated with Nigerian and African Studies): 5 x one-hour lessons per week
  • Science: Integrated Science in Years 7 and 8; discrete Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Year 9 (4 x one-hour lessons per week)
  • Humanities: Integrated Humanities in Years 7 and 8; discrete Geography and History in Year 9 (5 x one-hour lessons per week)
  • STEM (Robotics and Coding): Years 7–9 (2 x one-hour lessons per week)
  • Music: Instrumental, curriculum, and individual tuition programme (2 x one-hour lessons per week)
  • Art and Design: Fine Art and Design (2 x one-hour lessons per week)
  • Physical Education (PE): 2 x one-hour lessons per week
  • Swimming: 1 x one-hour lesson per week
  • PSHE (Personal, Social, and Health Education): Adapted from the English National Curriculum to respect and reflect Nigerian culture and traditions (1 x one-hour lesson per week)
  • Mandarin Chinese: Year 7 only (1 x one-hour lesson per week)
  • French: 1 x one-hour lesson per week in Year 7; 2 x one-hour lessons per week in Years 8 and 9
  • Form Time: Daily pastoral and academic check-in with each student’s form tutor, 7:45–8:00 a.m.
We will begin our IGCSE examinations programme in Years 10 and 11 in the 2026–27 academic year.

Our Careers and Higher Education Guidance team provides tailored advice to ensure every student’s path aligns with their strengths, aspirations, and future goals.

This guidance ensures a seamless progression from Key Stage 4 to Sixth Form and onwards to the world’s leading universities.

In the Sixth Form, students undertake A Levels, preparing for admission into prestigious universities across the UK, US, Canada, and Europe.

 

SUBJECT SELECTION

Year 12:

  • Students may select 3 or 4 AS Level subjects.
  • The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) may be chosen as a fourth subject.

Year 13:

  • Students typically continue with 3 A2 Level subjects.
  • A fourth A2 subject may be taken, though many students choose to focus on three.
